Mike Gaia was born in Austria and developed a passion for photography in his teenage 16 years ago at a time before the advent of digital photography. He later on went to study at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and enrolled in various Photography courses where he gained a sound understanding of the fundamental techniques of photography and dark room processing. When digital cameras started to rival the 35mm film cameras Mike immersed himself into digital photography and modern editing software.
